Wall Tiling

Regency Construction is able to supply and install a range of wall tiles.

For sucessful tiling the wall needs to be sufficiently flat. As a general guide there should be no deviations more than 3mm in 1.8m. As a rule, the larger the tile - the flatter the surface needs to be.

Should the wall not be sufficiently flat then Regency Construction can normally rectify this problem by re-plastering (see Plastering).

The wall to be tiled also needs to be clean, dry and free from any contamination. The wall will need to be sufficiently strong to support the tiling finish.

By using the trade quality tiling primers and trade quality tiling adhesives, Regency Construction can apply tiles to the following wall surfaces:

  • New Plaster
  • Painted Plaster
  • Plasterboard
  • Plywood
  • Tiling Backing Boards
  • Bricks
  • Concrete Blocks
  • Sand and Cement Renders
  • Concrete
  • Existing Tiles (if not loose)
Wall tiling can be professional completed with colour coordinated tile trims and colour cordinated grouts.

The floor to be tiled also needs to be clean, dry and free from any contamination.
